Account manager
Location: Home based - Client site in London
Salary: up to £45,000 (£70k OTE)

They employ over 200 people operating out of eight offices around the UK, with a wide range people including: project managers, information security experts, web developers, application programmers, database administrators, information architects, business analysts, writers, editors, journalists, graphic designers, print experts, technical authors, branding specialists and illustrators.

The role

The successful candidate is someone who will be able to demonstrate a clear track record in account development in marketing and communications (on and offline).

The candidate would have previous experience of managing various sectors in the public and private environment. Ideally, this person would have previous team management experience.

The role will involve significant time on client site working with customers to create opportunities for account growth and additional project work streams.

Primary customer contact points are typically communications teams, programme managers, service leads and product owners who expect and require account managers to understand and contribute to the creative/design process whilst understanding the basics of the technology "stack" that exists to support an enterprise environment.

The role requires significant interaction with the account team to develop and implement account strategies.

The role location will be a mix of home and client based (predominantly London) but we require the person to be in our Leeds offices on a regular basis.


Key Accountabilities:

*Either be, or quickly become, familiar with Digital, Print and Creative product and services offerings and the benefits they offer to customers
*To become deeply familiar with the assigned account(s) business, objectives, structures, ways of working so you can add value to their business.
*To provide honest and inspiring advice to customers, current and future, on the services and solutions that would deliver business benefit to them, by matching the first two accountabilities above.
*To ensure the team deliver the services the accounts you manage have contracted to deliver, and to represent the customers points of view in internal meetings.
*To deliver profitable projects from your accounts, that also deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
*To balance achieving the revenue targets we agree for each account while ensuring the team deliver a great service.
*To work with the broader team to develop, innovate and improve service offerings to better meet the needs of customers current and future.
*To ensure timely, regular and effective communication between and your accounts - to be our primary representative and first point of contact for your accounts.
*To be valued as an asset within your accounts, to be a valued member of their team as well as ours.
*To contribute and where relevant lead on the production of tender documents, proposals, quotes and presentations that meet the requirements your accounts have set, and the quality levels expect.
*To support and our customers, performing other related duties as and when required.

Main Working Relationships

*Account Director will take line management responsibility for this position.
*All project proposals must be approved by the Account
